IMG_2236Certified by the International Society of Travel Medicine, our travel-certified pharmacist will give you information on how to stay healthy on your trip. Book an appointment to go over your travel plans and how to prepare.

Bring these items to your appointment:

  • Your travel plans including each place you will visit, the accommodation you will stay in, and your activities.
  • Your current immunization records, which you can get from your local Alberta Health Services branch.
  • Your current health conditions and medications.
  • Your completed travel forms.

At your appointment we review:

  • Your current medical conditions and medications.
  • Your travel forms.
  • Your disease risks in the areas you plan to visit.
  • Your need for vaccinations.
  • Your need for proof of vaccinations.
  • Prescription and non-prescription medication for your trip.
  • Vaccines we can give you that day.
  • Tips for safe and healthy travel.
  • Any need for a follow-up appointment.

Note: Book your appointment six to eight weeks before you travel; vaccines take time to become effective. Travel clinic appointments can take up to one hour. There is a fee for travel clinic appointments.
