Vaccinations are covered by Alberta Health Services with a valid Alberta Health Care number.
ELIGIBILITY FOR NEW COVID-19 VACCINATION AS OF OCTOBER, 2023: Must be longer than 3 months since last COVID-19 vaccination and longer than 3 months since last COVID-19 infection.
Vaccinations (immunizations) protect you and your family from disease. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about new vaccines and vaccines that require an additional booster shot to stay effective. We give vaccinations in our private counselling room.
Our pharmacists have their Injection Certification with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP).
Common vaccines for adults include:
- Gardasil
- Influenza
- Seasonal flu shot
- Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
- Meningicoccal
- Pneumococcal – adults over 65
- Polio
- Seasonal influenza (October to March)
- Shingles – adults over 50
- Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis – every 10 years
